Magpie sweeping season

As the title suggests, Spring in Melbourne means more then that sweet sweet scent of apples, it also means that the crazy magpies come out and swipe anyone who walks past...and today i was the victim. I was on my way to the train station, and i looked up into the tree and i saw a bird (but wasnt sure if it was a magpie or not) which looked like it was in an "attack pose" but because i didnt know what it was i just kept walking...and then all of a sudden i feel something hit my head and i duck and when i look up i see the god-damn bird flying back up into the tree...it was sooo strange, it felt like when you walk into a bush and there are branches everywhere, and you kinda get poked with it...so i crossed the street after doing the wierd dodge-get out of the way- before it comes back pose, and yes there was blood, hahahah but yeah after that i got really anal...i dont know how the postmen could handle it. So i found a couple of "HANDY" hints to avoid getting swooped upon:

If a magpie swoops you:

1. Make a temporary sign to warn others (because everyone carries crayons and paper around when they go outside)
2. Draw or sew a pair of eyes on the back of your hat if your walking through an area (Dont worry people, that trend is on its way IN)
3. Wear your sunglasses on the back of your head (unfortunatly people actually do this during day to day things)
4. MY FAVOURITE: wear a helmet OR even a hat made out of an icecream container or cardboard box.

I met up with kim today, i assumed when she said, "lets meet at the library", that that was the state library to play chess...but nooo so i was waiting around for a locker for nothing, so we met half way (because she was at flinders st) and decided to get coffee and food at ADDIX...the food is shite, have to find a new place. So that was at 3.30ish, and i was meeting ty for kickboxing at 5.30 so we were just sitting there for 2 hours, watching FOX news which repeated about 4 times!! and amazing NO FIGHTING!...but i didnt even notice, until ty brought it up...so i think we have found the problem, hahahah joking ty...JOKING!!!

But when ty did come, we were going to be late for the 6pm kickboxing class, so we decided we would just use the gym, however when we got there, apparently there was a boxing class which was going to start at 6.30 so we decided to go to that. i liked it, the trainer guy...phil...was pretty good, and the class was small so he helped out alot...ty gave me a few right hooks into the jaw (which i really appreciated) but the whole defence thing wasnt going too well for me..so something to work on, i was just standing there letting ty hit me, argh i dont know. but my legs still hurt from tuesday soccer, so the lunges werent fun.

After the class was finished we walked to the tram, but ty needed chocolate and sugar, and she bought me "blueberry lifesavers" yum yum yum yum yum...and there was a dickhead who refused to move his legs when people were coming off the tram, so people had to step over him..such a wank...and then when they were all off, THEN he decided to move them.

and thats the end of that chapter

Love---Hate

I have known for some time now that pretty much ALL of my relationships; friendship, family and other are Love/ Hate...But today it kind of hit me how absolutely stupid the HATE part can come about AND the effects that come with it. Today I had two instances. The first one was with Kim, who thinks I'm a bitch because apparently I was, "poking and prodding" her emotions when I asked her why she was getting worked up over a SAD face emicon...Yes you read correctly, a SAD FACE!! And it went on and on and on, and ty is going to tell me that I shouldn't pick on her and I should have just changed the convosation but sometimes u cant actually believe that people take you seriously over a topic of sad faces.

And the second fight today was with my sister, because I said her runners were old, and she should get a new pair. That comment turned into actual fighting which I was blamed for, and she said I had started. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother opening my mouth. Obviously nothing constructive comes out, but then when I don't speak I get the, "what's wrong?", "are you pissed off" blah blah..

I dont hate people, i just get frustrated...difference being, people CAN annoy me, but i can still stand to talk to them. But i'm getting pretty sick of getting frustrated at the same people!!

The BLIMP!

I'm actually too tired to blog today, however i have finally manage to take a picture of the HOLDEN BLIMP, which goes over my house on the way to the airport. yesterday i was in the bathroom brushing my teeth, and i looked out of the window, and there it was, slowly hovering over my house, so i decided to run to my room, dive on my camera and take a picture, but it turned out it was going off on an angle, so i took some crappy shots, and yeah they were just crap. BUT today i decided to get off a station early, and i just just happened to look up into the sky again (as you do), and there it was..so i pulled out the camera again, had a perfect shot, clicked and managed a good picture of a tree...so i sprinted after it, and i got the blimp!!!

Well today was ty's "sport day", and it went pretty well. we pretty much spent 3 hours playing soccer. if your really interested in what happened, you should probably check out her blog. But afterwards we went to my second most hated place to eat, Red Silks, where i dont think anyone particularly liked what they ordered, but what can you do. It was then off to bowling at strike, however because of the long wait (actually if we had waited we would only be bowling now, and that was 2 hours ago), so we decided to play pool down some dodgy ally. BUT PROPER TABLES...amazing, all i've played on for the last year or so is the shite mini tables at strike, so it was a good change. AND then it was home time.
Kim was getting pretty happy by the end too, but since she still thinks i'm a bitch i wont talk about it!

And to end, i took a picture of a picture of my dog, when he was a pup, and he is just soooooo cute that i'm sticking him in here. i think my sister scarred him for life when she was doing these pics, because now he gets scared and does hang-dog, so we dont take as many of him anymore.

JOKE: havent done one in a while
Just before the funeral services, the keen young undertaker came up to the very elderly widow and asked, "How old was your husband?""98," she replied. "Two years older than me.""So you're 96," the undertaker commented, "Hardly worth going home is it?"

A Ball and some more butt kicking!!!

Last night, Ty, Kim and I headed off to the Melbourne Uni- A&A ball. Since nothing much happened at uni, i will just get straight into writing about the night.

We decided we would all meet at Ty's to get ready. I arrived at about 430pm, and ty and kim were just sitting around when i got there. I actually got Ty confused with her brother for a moment there too (they sound similar, haha). By 6pm we were all ready to go, but had to wait for the taxi...so we watched the end of the simpsons (the episode where Santa's Little Helper needs surgery for a twisted stomach and, "porkchop night, is now chubb night") and the start of neighbours (ty was missing out heaps on the whole crazy blind girl saga). So the taxi finally arrived and the driver didnt really have a clue where we were going, so the Melway queen kim, pulled out his one and was navigating him. We get to the Palladium Ballroom at aroung 7pm, and the security guy was being an arse because i didnt bring my Keypass with me...but he let me in. I think the first impression i got was, "whats with the need for all the pictures" and after the guy said for like the 10th time for everyone to sit down at their tables, my second thought was, "SERIOUSLY WHAT IS THE NEED FOR ALL THESE GOD DAMN PHOTOS, YOU HAVE THE WHOLE FRIGGIN NIGHT!!!). so after everyone had sat down, we got our our 1st course (smallest portion of risotto ever!) and then there was this pointless short movie made by the union, and it was Romio and Juliet - asian style (so with drag racing, and spikey hair) there next to dishes were so crap i wont even bother with it...but we did see Ruby and co. and yeah, nothing much to say there (however they all looked very nice), kim had her "thing" so that was probably the most entertainment of the night...and my camera ran out of battary, however trust me...your not missing out on much.

I did manage though to take a picture of the lantern which was on the table, I think that is a good indication of the overall night. It was really terrible...mainly because we didnt know anyone, and noone was dancing (they all congregated on the dance floor but were literally just standing there), or they were outside having a smoke. so at about 10.30 we decided to leave, and i was going to take the girls to a bar in the city (thursday nights are great!!) but when we were walking past the cinema, we figured a mindless movie would be a really good idea, so "John Tucker must die" was the perfect movie...it was really quick, pretty funny, no thinking involved, and a happy ending!! awww

after the movie we taxied back to ty's, had some pizza, and started watching, "Date Movie"...i thought it was crap, so i fell asleep, but kim was saying this morning, when she realised she was the only one laughing at the movie, that she had better turn it off, hahaha!

This morning we headed out for breakfast at the pancake parlour, and ran into Lin (i probably shouldnt have told him that we had seen him and not said anything) and then ty went off to work, while kim and I went and played chess again (I finally won a game)...we also ran into Mark, and kim couldnt get the "visuals" out of her head, but back to the chess, there are always annoying people who just come and watch...but today we had this old man, and he was helpful and yet annoying (he would do that sucking in air thing when you did a bad move)..but he went away when this 15yr old asked if he wanted to play. After about the third game we were tired, but because kim hadnt gone to school she couldnt go home, but we came up with a good excuse if her dad asked why she was early...i just found out he didnt even care, so all that for nothing.

and that was pretty much the ball last night and my day today....in a nutshell, i wouldnt recommend going to a uni ball, esecially when it isnt your uni and you know noone...however it was a good night with kim and ty YAY!!

A rock and a bum kicking!!!!

Today i planned to meet up with Kim, to go and find a belt for the ball tomorrow. However before i met up with her, i had to go into work, because Steph said she would be working and i was going to see if she had any belts which i could borrow...so off to work i go, to be greeted by Pete (the manager- who has also come back from holidays with a fugly Goatee) and he tells me that Steph isnt even working today....so i look at the rosters and shes on every friggin day except wednesday!! soooo frustrating.

so i went for literally 2 minutes, and in which time i missed my bus, so i decided to catch the tram, back to moonee ponds, and then tram to the city. kim was in the city library (which has become our new meeting point- must be the free internet) and was reading a book, with a pink cover, when i walked in on her......(mouth open) yeah there isnt any climax to that, she was just sitting there reading woop dee doo!! hahaha anyhoo, she gave me a rock , but not any rock....a rock with 'Serenity' written on it...Kim has an obsession with "serenity, freedom, beauty"...dont know why- well i kinda do know but i cant really write it, and its too late to even bother trying.

Okay we then walked up to the bank, to see if Kim had recievd her "financial assistence" otherwise known as the Dole, which she hadnt, so to celebrate that fact, we decided to go and get lunch (mum made me a bloody good sandwich today, so i just had a juice, whereas kim went for her new favourite meal: Salmon risotto...at you guessed it....ADDIX (i really dont like the food at that place, and i have said so many times, but anything is better then Red Silks i suppose =) (i'm going to get 2 very angry people on my back now) we were there for probably an hour, and i should have taken a photo of kimmy's face when i showed her "THE MESSAGE"...hahahaha it was great!!!

since kim had no money, we kind of just forgot about looking for belts and while walking past lonsdale st, she started talking about art galleries and how there is a maze of artwork at the state library..and then suddenly we ended up going there...i'm still confused!! but it wasnt that bad...i hadnt actually been through it before, so we checked out the "Early Australian" artwork and the people who were apparently useful in some way to shaping the country (i dont know!)...but when i asked kim about this supposed maze, that blank look of hers emerged and the response i was given, "what maze? where did you get a maze from" maybe you thought i said blah blah"...oh my god...but kim could so be one of those people who takes tours (she was commenting on the paintings eg. "look at the colour...those trees must have been around during the 1890's....that tram looks like its floating"

we checked out all the paintings and then headed up some more stairs (because not even kim had been up there, and what we found were chess tables. AND yes we ended up playing chess for the rest of the afternoon. i had never played it before because i always thought the rules were hard, but they really werent...kim knew what was going on...well she knew all the rules by the end...
hahaha look at that focused face....so kim kicked my arse a few times, then this guy who was lurking asked if he could play, so kim makes me play him, and yes, i lost again...however a tip was learnt (Actually move your queen around...its amazing!!!) so we played about 3 games and then it was 6pm so we decided to go home.

i met melina on the train coming home, she had been shopping for her sydney holiday...and that was my day.

!!!!First pictures with the camera!!!!

This weekend was the first with my new camera (yes still very excited about it) and so i thought i would take it too work for 2 reasons:

1. To get pictures of people before they all quit on me and
2. To give everyone a glimpse of what can potentially happen when we (actually more like when ONE person) are/is bored, have had too much "cheap WIZ FIZ" and Zours, and have been stuck in a small room with helium machines!!!

Exhibit A: The Storeroom.

So if we look up the top of the picture you can see the balloons, and just below is the helium tank. on the right you can see trophies which noone has collected so of course we must keep them. so the room extends back maybe a step from where i was standing and pretty much consistes of crap on both sides of the room eg. toys (barbie is a particular favourite of the girls), plates, a coffee machine, a lane waxer/ oiler!!!, coffee cups, a desk, a food heater thingie (bay mari????), tables x10, and pretty much anything else that dosent work or we dont use and yet still want to keep...management are GENIOUS'!!!!!!!

Exhibit B: Kat (enough said in pic)

Okay honestly we dont always dress Kat up, it has happened maybe once before but she made an effort for the camera on SAT, so i should put it in. So here she is wearing a xmas costume which (but she thinks its a jester hat!!) is complimented with the tinsel and the balloon which i dont actually think she knew she was holding. And she is also wearing our "very awesome" work shirt in a nice shade of..hmmm red.

Exhibit C: HAHAHAHHA!!!

Now this is a regular thing at work, and i dont know why she does it, but whenever there are alot of balloons up in the air Kat likes to come in and just scoop up a whole lot of them and stick her head in between them...and then head straight for the lollie bags and her Zours!!! hahaha and yes it does happen pretty often.

So over the past couple of weeks, going to work hasnt been fun for anyone...this is mainly due to everyone leaving, and all these new people coming in. I dont even know where to start to blog about it, because it is something that i want to write about, but there are so many areas now that are absolute shit, that its frustrating just thinking about it.

i think the best place to start is with management, combined with the lack of just everyday manners and communication. Well at the moment the only person i personally have any problems with is with the cafe manager, Simon. I hate working on saturdays just because i know he will be there, and if he is in a shit mood, then you pretty much just want to stay away, coz every question is a pointless one to him and is wasting his time. I really dont know what they want from us, they dont listen to suggestions, they dont act on complaints, they just want us to dress up like "fairies and devils" and prance around like idiots, with face paint on...

On a HAPPY!!! note, this week is the "nerd ball" and kickboxing...plus its holidays next week...=)

On a SAD!!! note i have an exam this week... and a report and 2 assignments due after the holidays...=(

A day where something actually happened!

Today was a pretty big day...ACTUAL THINGS happened in my day for me to blog about...amazing i know, i surpise myself.

well i started off my going to uni for my kinesiology lab...now that was a fantastic experience (with sarcasm intended), today we yet again did vertical jumps, which pretty much turned into a pissing match between all the guys...and people say that jumping isnt fun, well they were very right, it took about an hour, and it couldnt have been more pointless. Our labs arent really labs, they are just going through our homework questions, and its just boring, last semester we would do the questions in class (no discussion), this semester we do the questions at home and we do discuss...i can complain for hours.

so we finished early, and i was meeting ty in the city because today was the day we started our Kickboxing class. we met around 3.30 and had something to eat, then figured we would go and buy kims present. that prob took about 30min, so because i have been after a camera for like 4 days, we went to JB-HI fi and well yes a camera was purchased (the guy sold it pretty well) however it is pretty good, currently charging and so hopefully i can have some pictures up soon!!! joy. there was still like 2 hours to kill, so we headed to angus and robertson and found a book on accomodation in victoria (for this trip which no of us can afford right now), and then it was onto "Wheres Wally"...we were walking up Elizabeth and we ran into Nic and her new bf (well we will just call him her bf anyway) and we had a quick chat then it was time for kickboxing YAY!!

so we get there, and the girl (i think her name was casey) who was very enthusiastic showed us to the change rooms. then we went out to where our class was being held, and got ohhh so many looks form everyone there...it was pretty funny actually, they were all tapping their wrists and skipping and me and ty are sitting there intensly watching this girl crying from her personal training session, the personal trainer we soon realise is our instructor for the lesson...george

so it started with about 5 minutes of skipping (which i sucked at) and then we did some sretches...i really shouldnt just skip over the stretching bit...it was probably more painful then everything else we did, George came over and would like pull your leg out until your muscle felt like it was going to tear, and then push down...lovely yes...but yeah it wasnt too bad, he knew it was ty and mines first lesson so he was very encouraging!

then it was onto the actual punching and kicking bit. ty started with the gloves on and she did really well, however i think we have both learned to pace ourselves for next time...today was just "Go hard, and then be stuffed for the rest of the hour"...ty needed some air after the first like 10 exercises, and george being the motivating guy he is comes over and goes, "that will be you"...thats nice i really didnt need you to say it....

so ty was buggered so i was put with george and this other girl (should really learn peoples names next week) and yeah it went pretty well. there was punching, kicking, elbows, knees, i think i may have picked up a rash (the place stinks reaaaaalllly bad, and its bare feet on those mats so i'll probably get tinea or something.

the class finished at 7, so we went and got changed, started talking to some of the girls who are really nice, and went and got our membership soughted...i guess we will just see how we go!!

Visual Aids (I should just say pictures) coming soon!!!

As you can see, with most of my blogs I have really been scrapping the barrel for things to talk about, it is slightly depressing to actually say it, but I will get over it. I have become, a little bit addicted to reading peoples blogs, especially when im at uni and am just killing time or "taking a break"...and what I have noticed is most people have visual aids (pictures) about there lives and can then talk about them...which has led me on the hunt to get a camera myself, so I can write less crap, which noone wants to read, and actually have something decent to do instead.

I think another motivation is to get one before my sister, who is realllllllllllllllllllllllly bad at actually getting something she wants. she has been talking about a camera probably for 3 years now...but also on her mind is getting a car (she wont get it because, "I don't have timmme" in a whingy and annoying 5 yr old voice which you just want to slap out of her)...or going o'seas, or moving out, or making coconut balls....its a little bit nuts, not that i'm any better. i'm more of a starter of things (eg. learning to drive) , but then something will happen to stop me from doing something for a couple of weeks (work, uni exams) , and then what I was doing is now a, "i'll get back to it" task...however I WILL get back to it (eg. I have been looking up driving schools, to get the stupid license before the end of the year)...I can also use this example on finding a sport...FINALLy I am starting some kind of physical activity after about a year, in the form of kickboxing!! YAY!! i'm doing it with Ty, and our trial class is on Thursday (or tomorrow) so i'm excited because I was actually considering doing tennis, which i'm not a big fan of, however you never know I might still do it over the summer...ahhh tennis, I don't think there is a more boring sport to play, besides badmington!!!

i'm not putting a "joke" on today because I cant get into my email...somehow I think everyone will survive

Funniest impression EVER!!!!!

The weekend is now the only days of the week where i can get up before 11 o'clock...it used to be Saturdays which would be my sleep in days until 11-12 o'clock when i was in highschool, and now things are much more different. The main explanation for this, is after 2 years of working at AMF, i am now actually getting decent shifts, instead of the crap 3 hour ones i used to get (it used to read on my roster, Sat- 3-6pm, Sun- 1-4pm...you dont get much worst shifts then those, and all i got to show for it was like $50...dodgy!!!) so now i get approx 12 hours a week, and i think about 9 hours is spent in a storeroom using the helium machine to blow up balloons and eating gummy bears...i lead a hard life huh!! and yet it is still a stressful job being this "Room supervisor"...i now have all the party hostess' constantly wanting to know

1. "wheres my party going to be" x 10 answer: "in room 1"
2. "have you set up my party" x 5 answer: "Yes"
3. "I have nothing to do, do you need help?" x 3 answer: "Yes i do need help, you could of started my giving me a hand setting up your table instead of standing there watching me do it myself"
4. "where do i put these dirty plates" answer: "in the bin"
5. "is my party going in this room?" answer: "No" response:" but i already told my party that, that was their room" answer: "why did you do that? response: "because" answer: "is that seriously your answer" response: "well it was set up so i figured it was for me" answer: "well its for another party, so tell them to take their stuff to the other room" response: "but they have alrady put all their stuff down, can you tell them?" answer: "NO!" (what i want to include after this no is, "Stop assuming that everything is done for you, JUST ASK ME BEFORE U TELL THE PARENTS...IS THAT SO HARD (including some swearing)??????"
6. This one actually happened today, we have 3 new 15 y.o and they have been at AMF for about 3 weeks now...today one of the girls was doing a party with one of the older girls, and this girl kept coming to get the older girl and asking, "okay the party is finished", "okay the party is ready for the cake", "okay the party wants their food", "okay the mum wants her tokens", "okay the party is finished what do i do now"...i just got frustrated because it was like this girl could not show any initiative and do something as easy as bring a cake to the room, without asking permission almost, and i know she is 15 and she is new, but sometimes i just wonder how long it will take them to be more independant...and i know i shouldnt be frustrated with them, but i am doing a party with one of them tomorrow so i guess i shouldnt complain until i have experienced it!!! tomorrows blog should be good then.

okay i have decided on my weekend blogs i will now write down the most used/ moronic questions i have been asked over my sat+ sun shifts. ohhh the pain!!! oh today we had a visit from the reginal manager and yes we became friends =) well i just kind of told him that i hate doing parties, that Simon is a dickhead and that the training is shite! but yeah he was pretty good and had like light green eyes...yes i am a bad starer..but i couldnt help it.

Funnist thing happened at work today actually...well i've been laughing until i cry (which i never used to do so my threshold has definatly been decreased) really often lately actually, mainly because i give Kat so much crap and her likewise to me...but today it was Steph who even now when i think about it makes me laugh, and this was a a good 3 minute non-stop crying FIT,

(will include a picture of the impression soon)

Well ty came up with a differant idea for our trip...it may now be to a hot springs spa, for a couple of days of relaxation and trips to the beach on the side (maybe to kill some days) and yeah it should be good, and its going to be earlier then planned which is awesome, something to look forward too during the exam period.

YAY joke time:

The room was full of pregnant women and their partners. The Lammas class was in full swing. The instructor was teaching the women how to breathe properly, and informing the men how to give the necessary assurances and coaching at this stage of the plan."Ladies, exercise is good for you," announced the teacher."Walking is especially beneficial. And, gentlemen, it wouldn't hurt you to take the time to go walking with your partner!" The room was very quiet. Finally, a guy in the group raised his hand. "Yes?" asked the instructor. "Is it okay if she carries a golf bag while we walk?"

"Sunshine and lollypops and rainbows blah blah"

Today i felt really exhausted, and i really didnt want to get out of bed, however because i had a 9am tute i kind of had to go...but it did feel good to get up and actually go to uni, because usually on monday and tuesdays i have 10am lectures, and for most part of this semester i just havent been stuffed to drag myself to go to them, so off to uni i went today, with very little sleep the night before (which has been happening more often these days, but i'm hoping its just from the lack of physical..umm anything really), so if it keeps up, especially after Ty and I start our little Kickboxing classes (soooo excited) then i will start creating more worries for myself (cant wait!!)

so my morning tute was for Motor Control, and well this weeks tute was just so boring...it pretty much involved this:

We had to do 5 minutes on the bikes (warm up), then do "static" stretches, then went and did a vertical jump, waited 5 minutes, vertical jump again, another 5 minutes vertical jump...then waited 20 minutes (to rest, hmmm), got back on the bikes for 5 mintues, "active" stretches, vertcial jump, wait 5 minutes, vertical jump, another 5 minutes, vertical jump...YAY!!!!!

all that took 2 hours. so after it was all done, jen, bec, sylvia and myself headed to the library to finish our kinesiology questions, but that took like 30 minutes, so we had another hour and a half to kill, so i pretty much looked up random blogs again (YES! i know its bad...but today i came across crappy ones so i might stop for abit)

at 1pm we went too our kinesiology tute down in "Con's dungeon"- so person made it up, because its just closed off to everything, for, i cant even express in words anymore how bad this subject is...all we do is the tute activity (which he will drag for about 40 minutes) and then we will go through our homework questions (another hour) and then you wonder, "what the hell have i learnt this less....ABSOLUTLY NOTHING, THANKS CON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" that man makes me sooo mad

well after that, i was done for the day, so i caught the bus home as usual, and watched House from yesterday (it was okay, Foreman is an arse) and then had a nap!....

so within the next couple of weeks i have, an exam, 2 assignments, a report and con's weekly questions to do!!

on a happy note however JOKE time:

Two nuns, Sister Linda and Sister Helen, are traveling through Europe in their car. They get to Transylvania and are stopped at a traffic light. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a tiny little Dracula jumps onto the hood of the car and hisses through the windshield.

"Quick, quick! !" shouts Sister Linda. "What shall we do?" "Switch the windshield wipers on. That will get rid of the abomination," says Sister Helen. Sister Linda switches them on, knocking Dracula about, but he clings on and continues hissing at the nuns. "What shall I do now?" she shouts. "Switch on the windshield washer. I filled it up with Holy Water at the Vatican," says Sister Helen. Sister Linda turns on the windshield washer. Dracula screams and the water burns his skin, but he clings on and continues hissing at the nuns.

"Now what?" shouts ! Sister Linda. "Show him your cross!," says Sister Helen. "Now you're talking," says Sister Linda. She opens the window and shouts, "Get the f**k off the car!"

Who said spending time with kim wasnt a enjoyable/ painful experience???

I'll just start from the beginning...i met up with Kim today because she was bored and well she needed to get out of the country. Today was the day that kim's new glasses came in, so she wanted to go and pick them up at QV. so we were walking up Swanston and she just wanted to check to see if she had been paid, so we've gone to the Commonwealth ATMs and she has got her receipt and everything was good, the money was in the bank. After that we just walked up to QV, passing like every punk kid in melbourne (something was going on at HI-FI bar, which kim hoped would then blow up!! angry huh). When we get to the glasses shop, the guy packs up her glasses for her and everything is ready to go, BUT when kim goes to get her ATM card, it isnt there...and shes checking everywhere (kim has cards for everything, so its kinda ridicoulous) she checks her wallet like 5 times, her jeans her bag..and it wasnt there...the guy then jokes, "You know if you cant find your card we will have to throw them away", hahahah i was laughing pretty hard already at this stage, coz kim was getting stressed...she however did realise that he was joking so she didnt well pee her pants!!.

so card is no where to be found so we tell the guy we will be back, so he go outside and kim is just panicked because she figured she must have left it in the ATM machine, soooooooooo we decide to tram down (the tram driver was such a arsehole) and we end up passing the punk kinds again, and when we get to the bank, the card wasnt there HOWEVER luckily when we went inside someone had handed it in, so kim was reunited with her bank card. Kim was very happy (thanked her Libra star sign) and we went back up to QV past the punk kids AGAIN, and get back to the glasses shop. so the guy is there with the glasses ready to go and kim hands him her card, and she just has to put in her PIN, but of course someone dosent know her PIN, so a couple of times she has actually put in too many numbers, and she was putting in wrong combinations, and the guys expression was priceless...i was just laughing in the store, so after about 10 goes, we decide to just go and take out the money from the tattslotto ATM, so 3 transactions later (2 for her glasses, 1 for the trip) we go back and kim FINALLY is able to walk out with her new glasses.

We leave and are walking back out to the tram, when she gets the, "do you like them?, "are they too small", "they feel tight", "do you think they are too low?", and that continued until we got on the tram, and she wanted to look at them again in the mirror, so she pulls out her one and as soon as she sits down she drops it and breaks it, so her eyeshadow now has no cover...i was crying (mainly because i thought she had dropped her glasses, but i laughed all the way too Collins)...

after that we went for coffee in degraves, and then went to Stalactites for something to eat, kim's water got a bug in it...trust...we then went to check out this, well what we thoguht was a tattoo parlour but i think they just did piercings...we werent that spontanious!! then it was ADDIX for chai tea for kim (she had learnt her lesson) and a mocha for me

and that was pretty much 3 hours!!!

okay joke for the day:

Three women die together in an accident and go to heaven. When they get there, St. Peter says, "We only have one rule here in heaven: don't step on the ducks!"So they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place. It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although they try their best to avoid them.
The first woman accidentally steps on one.Along comes St. Peter with the ugliest man she ever saw.St. Peter chains them together and says, "Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to spend eternity chained to this ugly man!" The next day, the second woman steps accidentally on a duck and along comes St. Peter, who doesn't miss a thing. With him is another extremely ugly man. He chains them together with the same admonishment as for the first woman.
The third woman has observed all this and, not wanting to be chained for all eternity to an ugly man, is very, VERY careful where she steps. She manages to go months without stepping on any ducks, but one day St. Peter comes up to her with the most handsome man she has ever laid eyes on ... very tall, long eyelashes, muscular, and thin.St. Peter chains them together without saying a word. The happy woman says, "I wonder what I did to deserve being chained to you for all of eternity?"The guy says, "I don't know about you, but I stepped on a duck!"

"His aint evin goin a get a wippin' "

Well i really couldnt be stuffed writing anything yesterday, and today is no different, but stuff it i'll post just for like the 2 people who actually read my blog, and the 8 people who have 'visited' my blog since yesterday....yes the site meter is FINALLY working, such a pain in the arse (even though i didnt do anything...thanks ty!!!)

Alright so yesterday i worked from 9-5...and for the first time ever (well since i've been there) we had like 18 parties, with 12 party hostesses rosted on...i still dont see the logic behind that, but we have ANOTHER new girl, i think it makes it 5 in about 3 weeks, and just thinking about having to work next week makes me depressed...however it is possible that dickhead simon, has taken 2 weeks off, so i'll remain optimistic until then!!!

Today my family headed country...full of pretty much eating and playing games, and watching movies...hmmm which leads to, the movie, which has topped the WORST EVER list...Elizabethtown, i dont know how to express how shockingly infuriating this movie was, seriously the first 30 min was about this guy (who designs SHOES!!!) gets fired and wants to kill himself (you could have done all that in like 10 minutes) but noooo he cant kill himself (even though you hope against hope that he does) because his dad dies instead, so there is another hour of him looking at pictures, literally, in every scene he was just looking at pictures and more and more, and F### as soon as whats-her-face and orlando bloom started there 20 minute convo...it was time to turn it off (if only i could have just piffed the remote at the tv) that is how bad it was....usually i can at least watch the movie through to the end, but i havent stopped a movie in ages, so this movie was just shit! dont ever rent it, or buy it, or even bother watching it if it just happens to be lying around...BURN IT!!

Can everyone tell kim that birds eat meat!!! and that giving them mince meat does not make them cannibles....

okay thats it for now...i'll write more crap tomorrow...hopefully something good will happen, man nothing good ever happens, i lead a pretty boring life...maybe Con will (get pushed) fall and hurt himself...heres hoping

and the joke for today:

The man at the bar took out a 12-inch piano. then he took out a 12-inch man and the man started playing the piano. the bartender asked, "where did you get those?" the man replied, "i have a magic genie." with that he took out a lamp and rubbed it, and a genie appeared. the man said, "i'll give you a wish." the bartender said, "i wish for a million bucks." a million ducks appeared in the bar. the bartender exclaimed, "i said a million bucks!" and the man replied, "oh sorry my genie's a bit deaf. why do you think i have a 12-inch pianist."

hahahah what! its pretty funny

Iceman: "You can be my wingman anytime", Maverick: "BullS#@!, you can be mine"

Last night I went to bed at about 1am, which was a really bad idea since I had uni at 9am, and worse my exercise phys tute, which I forgot we had a test for AND had to do a beep test!! it went soooo badly, I seriously could have just shut my eyes and fallen asleep while I was running, but seriously it was my worse score ever, and yes it will never be talked about again...so now I am on the hunt for a sport, so please give suggestions!!!!!

so after my tute this morning i was finished for the day, and as I was walking across the oval to the bus stop, I noticed my bus just leaving...now usually I would have been pissed off, but because its the first day of spring and the sun was out and the oval for once didn't have puddles everywhere, I figured I would just go to sleep....it was really nice, quite, and I didn't get a wet arse (bonus!!)...so after 15 minutes I got up to catch the next bus...and the look the bus driver gave me when I got onto the bus...he must of thought I was going to passout or was just a druggie, because he gave this quizzical look, and asked me if I was alright...I just replied, "yeah I'm good how are you?" in a very upbeat tone, even though I was like forcing my eyes to be open. I got off at Ascot Vale station, and the bus driver called me a canary (those yellow birds), because I was wearing my BARRY tshirt...I looked like the biggest bumb, and it was just terrible.

When I got home my parents were heading out, so I started watching Top Gun...haha I watched half of it, but then I just couldn't be bothered...and there was no food except the dreaded DRIED MEAT...so I just finished eating fish and chips, dim sims, and the most overcooked pancakes ever which were still pretty good...and I kinda do feel like going for a run or go for a ride...but that can wait until tonight (hopefully the urge with pass by then =)

Kim and i have come to the decision, from now on, to "agree to disagree"...well we only agreed to this yesterday on msn, so when we meet up next week i can tell you about the progress made, if any hahah, she is very optimistic..must be the country air, and the dried pig balls...but thats just my theory. we also got talking about friends and had a bit of a heart to heart....but the question came up of, Are people who have alot of "friends" any more happy, then those people who just have a few close friends??? theories please...its becoming like a never ending topic but its pretty important i think!!

well i have been thinking alot about my tattoo ideas, and i was wearing a necklace that my mum gave me, its of Hope (heart), Faith (cross), Charity (anchor)...so i think that is something i wouldnt regret getting put on me, so now all i have to do is work out a design, which is really quite hard...i might just go to a place and tell them my idea and they can work with it...ehh no idea. however i have also been thinking about, well they are not uploading so i'll just stick into a new post...but yes i am very excited, i might mention to my mum tonight that i want to get one...probably give her less of a heart attack..ahhh well

i think thats it for now...however as promised i will leave with...well not an article...but this is a joke which always makes me laugh, and was sent to me by my uncle like 4 yrs ago..

How romantic...

Daryl is driving over the Sydney Harbor Bridge one day when he
sees his girlfriend Shazza about to throw herself off.
Daryl slams on the brakes and yells: "Shazza what the blazes
d'ya Think ya doing?"
Shazza turns around with a tear in her eye and says: "G'day Daryl..
You got me pregnant, so now I'm gonna kill meself".
Daryl gets a lump in his throat when he hears this.
Shazza, he says.......... "Fair dinkum not only are ya a top root
But you're a real sport too" . and drives off.....

It pretty old, but i still like it
